Safety During Your Event
When preparing for an event, keep safety in mind. The following list outlines basic safety considerations:
- Have adequate adult supervision for the walk.
- Ask police to assist in identifying and controlling any dangerous parts of the route such as crossing a busy intersection.
- Remind parents about their responsibilities as drivers and to drive with extra care near the school.
- Provide students and parents with safe walking tips.
